Have you got what it takes to Loop the Loop? You will fly with one of Ireland’s leading aerobics instructors in the new Bellanca Super Decathlon aircraft, the only one of its kind in Ireland, and will be presented with an Atlantic Flight Training Academy Aerobatics Certificate on completion. Interested participants need to raise a minimum of €300, and for the next year 50% of this will go directly to Breakthrough Cancer Research, who fundraise for the research and development of new treatments for poor prognosis cancers throughout the country, and towards the cost of state-of-the art equipment needed to treat these cancers.

Orla Dolan, Fundraising Director of Breakthrough Cancer Research, said “We are overwhelmed at the extraordinary lengths (and now heights) that people go to to ensure we have adequate funding to support the vital cancer research work being carried out throughout the country. The team at Atlantic Flight Centre are giving generously of their time and resources, and we would like to sincerely thank them and encourage the public to get behind this exciting, if not nerve-wracking, fundraiser.”

Captain Allen Field of Atlantic Flight Training Academy said, “We wanted to do something exciting and different to support the incredible work of Breakthrough Cancer Research. This is the very first time people in Ireland will have the opportunity to fly an aerobatics airplane and do a Loop the Loop, so we hope you fly high for cancer research”.
